The Zeitschrift für Recht & Islam (ZRI) (formerly GAIR-Mitteilungen) is the journal of the Society for Arab and Islamic Law. In addition to news from the Society, the ZRI focuses above all on new developments in the law of states shaped by Islam, provides an overview of legislation in Germany and abroad, reports on current case law and fatwas, surveys recently published literature and contains reviews, conference reports and articles. All issues of the ZRI are permanently stored on the publication server of Leipzig University Library and are also available here for free download.
